About me

As a theater kid since age 10, I’m a deep believer in the transformative power of live performance. It’s my all-time favorite team sport.

I started as an actor, but now specialize in low-budget, non-illusory stagecraft and storytelling. For the last eleven years I have written/performed/directed over 400 short and long-form plays for The Neo-Futurist Theater as a member of the ensemble.

From 2020-2023 I served as the Artistic Director at The Neo-Futurists, where I was instrumental to our noteworthy pivot to digital performance at the height of COVID.

In 2019 I received the NEA Creativity Connects grant to remount the sold out production of Tangles & Plaques, which I wrote in 2017.

As a teacher, I’ve conducted writing and performance workshops for students of all ages and backgrounds across the country.

Hey!

I’ve made a career of making and teaching performance art in Chicago, and I’d love to work with you.
