Who’s Afraid?
Co-Created with Neil Bhandari
Selected as part of The Neo-Futurist Theater’s 2025 Season
Two performers act out the first 12 pages of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf 15 times in a row. They treat breath and intonation as choreography, first demonstrating the spectacle of repetition, and then revealing a story by modifying the scene in increasingly significant ways.

This play is constructed entirely by found text. Every word spoken is sourced from a play, movie, tv, show, Taco Bell Commercial etc. Footnotes are projected on the stage throughout, and as the play progresses, more and more sources are pulled from the real lives of the performers onstage. In the third act of the play, we are watching two scenes from two real moments from the lives of the performers, blending and in response to the other.
